There are many kinds of meditation. I’m going to deal with two kinds of meditation methods which help to reduce your stress, uplift your brainpower, relax your mind. Two kinds of my teaching about meditation are, Breathing meditation (Anapanasati) and objective meditation.
How to start or prepare for meditation
I like to introduce you, three kinds of rules which we need to focus on, before we start meditation. i.e., time, place or location and body preparation. It is better if you choose the early morning hours. If it is difficult to awake early in the morning you can choose any other time which is quiet around you. Next you have to choose a suitable place and prepare for meditation. You must place your place in a quiet place as I said before, it is a very important thing that you must follow to get good results. Used thin mat to sit, it should place on the ground. Do not use a mattress for meditation because your body must be steady at the time you meditate. Open up to fresh air. For that, you can use outside or inside a place near the door or window. It must be a clean place with a good smell. You can use your favorite odor around you. It helps you to relax your mind. Use your favorite place or a place in which you think that the place gives you a kind of relaxing. Another important thing is body preparation, drink two glasses of water as soon as you get up early and do metabolize. Have a bath with little warm water to clean your entire body. If you follow all the rules as you can now you’re ready for meditation.
We need oxygen to live, for that, we have to inhale and exhale every time. In this meditation we just control our breathing and try to concentrate our mind into breathing. First sat on the floor by cross your legs and steady your upper body, relax your hands and put in on the knees smoothly. Stay few minutes and take a deep breath by thinking only that you’re taking a breath, hold on few minutes and exhale slowly and continuously. From this exercise you can forget your day to day problems step by step and get free from the stress. Do this meditation everyday morning continuously until one week. You can see a big difference in your life.
As a result of this meditation, your mind will relax, you can focus your mind on your goals, your entire body gets physical relax even. Your skin becomes smooth and bright.
If you were unable to do breathing meditation you can do objective meditation. Follow the same preparation as I mentioned before. For that you have to add an object. It is better if you can get a yellow color small ball, hang it in front of your eye level within a few distances from your eyes. No matter what is the object is, used a simple object in which that your eye can catch the object. Focused on the object and try to think about the object. Like, it’s creation, it looks, like physical appearances. Get a minimum of 10 minutes for that. Then try to focus your mind on the object without thinking about any other things. At the time when you focus on the object you can see a red light, it is the time to closed your eyes. Look at the object directly and try to see the object from your eyes and the mind. Look at objects directly and more a few minutes according to your time. Close your eyes and try to imagine the object which was in front of your eyes. When you going fail to do that open up your eyes and look at again the particular object. Try to do the same thing until 2 hours every day. Same results you can get as breathing meditation.
If you practiced more hardly object meditation you can get soul from your body and can fly in the air, no one can see your soul they can see only your body where you place it. After a few periods, your soul also comes into a solid one, it is the highest result that you can get. You can get back to your body through a silver line that is connected to your navel in your solid body. This is the meditation in which old Buddhist prophets practiced and travel around many places to help people.
